Birth memories are among the most powerful experiences we will carry with us. I have a passion for childbirth. That passion includes helping families understand the birth process, helping families understand the choices available to them and supporting them before, during and after birth. Being a doula is not about telling you what to do during childbirth. This is your birth and the role of a doula is to help you have your most satisfying experience so that you are able to offer your sweet baby the warmest welcome.
What is a Doula?
The word “doula,” comes from the Greek word for the most important female servant in an ancient Greek household, the woman who probably helped the lady of the house through her childbearing.
